Job description

Job Title: PMO – Fiscal Reporting Process 

Background:
We are seeking a Project Management Officer (PMO) to support the fiscal reporting (Dictamen Fiscal) process for three legal entities based in Mexico. This process involves a highly detailed and structured annual income tax return, which includes reporting on financials, purchases, contracts, human resources data, and more. The declaration must be reviewed and signed off by an independent external auditor prior to submission.
Due to the complexity of the requirements, we have experienced delays in meeting submission deadlines over the past two years. Despite efforts to implement internal improvements, they have proven insufficient, and we are now looking for a dedicated PMO to help drive process efficiency and on-time delivery.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Oversee the execution of all agreed actions related to the fiscal reporting process
  • Coordinate across multiple workstreams and stakeholders to ensure timely delivery of tasks
  • Identify, map, and anticipate risks or deviations from the plan
  • Support root cause analysis and clarification of existing process gaps
  • Facilitate continuous improvement efforts to meet regulatory deadlines
  • Maintain clear and proactive communication with internal teams and external partners

Required Qualifications:
  • Proven experience as a PMO or Project Manager in complex, multi-stakeholder environments
  • Strong organizational and coordination skills
  • Ability to quickly understand and map complex processes
  • Excellent communication skills in Spanish; proficiency in English is an advantage
  • Familiarity with compliance or financial reporting processes is a plus
  • Comfortable working across cultures and time zones
