Job description

The Chief Executive Officer (CEO) is responsible for providing strategic, financial, and operational leadership for the company. The CEO works closely with the Board of Directors and senior leadership team to develop and implement high-level strategies, make major corporate decisions, manage overall operations and resources, and serve as the main point of communication between the board and corporate operations.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Strategic Leadership:

    • Define and execute the companys vision, mission, and overall strategy.

    • Develop long-term strategic plans to achieve growth and sustainability.

    • Identify and assess new business opportunities and risks.

  • Operational Oversight:

    • Oversee daily operations of the company and the work of executives (COO, CFO, CTO, etc.).

    • Implement and monitor systems, policies, and procedures.

    • Ensure the organization is properly structured and staffed to meet strategic goals.

  • Financial Management:

    • Manage budgeting, forecasting, and capital allocation.

    • Monitor financial performance and drive profitability.

    • Maintain healthy relationships with investors, financial institutions, and stakeholders.

  • Stakeholder Engagement:

    • Act as the face of the company in public and private forums.

    • Foster strong relationships with customers, partners, suppliers, government entities, and the community.

    • Report to the board on organizational progress, challenges, and financial status.

  • Corporate Governance & Compliance:

    • Ensure compliance with legal and regulatory requirements.

    • Promote ethical conduct and a values-based culture.

    • Safeguard the companys interests and reputation.

  • Team Leadership & Development:

    • Build and maintain a high-performing leadership team.

    • Promote a culture of excellence, accountability, and continuous improvement.

    • Lead performance reviews, coaching, and leadership development.

Qualifications & Experience:
  • Bachelors degree in Business Administration, Finance, or relevant field (MBA or equivalent preferred).

  • Minimum [10+] years of experience in executive leadership roles.

  • Proven track record of success in managing operations and driving business growth.

  • Strong understanding of corporate finance, organizational development, and market dynamics.

  • Experience working with or on a Board of Directors.
