Finance & Tax Assistant (Remote - Spain)

Your mission is to support Metricool’s Finance team, ensuring the proper recording of transactions, precise tax declarations, and the optimization of financial processes. You will play a key role in providing clarity and structure to our financial operations, impacting not only our internal processes but also the customer experience.

In this position, you will be able to have a wonderful contribution and impact in different areas:

As a Finance & Tax Assistant:

• Transaction Maestro: Accurately record all financial transactions, ensuring clarity and compliance.

• Tax Whiz: Handle VAT, income tax, and corporate tax declarations with precision and adherence to deadlines.

• Budgeting Pro: Assist in the creation of budgets and rolling forecasts, contributing to strategic financial planning.

• Insightful Analysis: Prepare monthly reports, analyzing deviations and offering actionable insights.

• Process Guru: Develop, document, and optimize financial processes for seamless operations.

As a Team Member,

• Collaborate with the Finance team to ensure all financial activities are accurately reflected in our systems.

• Support Customer Success with financial insights that enhance the client experience.

• Share best practices and ideas to streamline financial processes and reporting.

Long story, short: How will your first days in Metricool look like?

• First month: You will understand your impact on the team and the business, getting familiar with the team, the company, and its processes. You will meet every team member and understand their expertise.

• First Quarter: You will understand the financial workflows, begin managing tasks autonomously, and start contributing to process optimization.

• To the moon: After this process, you will become a key player in Finance, optimizing processes and contributing to strategic decisions.

Job requirements. You’ll be successful on your mission if you have:

• Experience: Minimum of 2 years in accounting or finance roles.

• Education: Degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.

• Languages: Fluent in English and Spanish.

Hard skills:

• Proficiency in ERPs (preferably NetSuite).

• Advanced Excel skills.

• Deep understanding of financial processes and tax regulations.

• Analytical mindset and attention to detail.

Soft skills:

• Strong organizational skills and ability to manage multiple tasks.
