The Technical Support & Deployment Specialist is responsible for deploying and supporting Esko’s Phoenix and Griffin solutions, resolving complex technical issues, and ensuring customers achieve maximum value and efficiency from our software.
This position is part of the Print Optimization & Planning team and is a remote role (you need to be UK, Italy or Spain based).
In this role, a typical day will look like:
Handling advanced customer issues passed on from frontline support
Troubleshooting technical issues with Phoenix and Griffin across diverse environments
Collaborating with R&D on bugs or product improvements
Planning and executing complex Phoenix deployments, including integrations
Delivering customer training and post-deployment support
Maintaining accurate documentation and case records
Working cross-functionally with Presales, Product, and Operations teams
The essential requirements of the job include:
Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience in software, engineering, or print production
3+ years of experience in technical support, prepress, or deployment within the printing or packaging sector
Proven expertise with ServiceMax or similar case management tools
Experience deploying print production, MIS, or planning software in customer environments
Strong working knowledge of PDF workflows, XML, JDF, or print production processes
