Role Overview:

eHealth Insurance Services, Inc. is seeking a professional, reliable, detail-oriented, and highly organized individual to join our team as a Licensing Administrator. In this Seasonal role, you will be responsible for managing the end-to-end agent readiness process, ensuring Benefit Advisors meet all necessary requirements to service our customers effectively. You will work closely with State Departments of Insurance, external carrier partners, and cross-functional teams across the organization. Your attention to detail and ability to coordinate across multiple stakeholders will be essential in maintaining compliance and supporting a seamless onboarding experience for our agents. End date on or around October 15, 2025.

 

What you’ll do:

  • Responsible for all processes outlined below with specific concentration on either State Licensing or Carrier Appointments. Specialization will be adjusted accordingly to meet evolving business needs.

  • Screening potential advisor candidates to determine if they are eligible to obtain all required licensure and carrier appointments to effectively service eHealth customers.

  • Onboarding and preparing new hires for the licensure process. This includes, but is not limited to, obtaining onboarding documentation and proactively assessing what additional information may be requested by states and carriers based on the advisor’s history and background.

  • Ordering licensing exam preparation courses.

  • Scheduling on-site and remote exams across all 50 states and DC.

  • Coordinating the completion and submission of fingerprints for required states.

  • Completing and submitting insurance license applications to the Departments of Insurance for all 50 states and DC.

  • Responsible for overseeing and executing the end-to-end Appointment process for an assigned book of Carriers.

  • Demonstrate eHealth’s values in your behaviors, practices, and decisions.

 

Who you are:

  • Insurance Licensing experience required

  • Knowledge and experience with the suite of Microsoft Products including an emphasis on Excel.

  • Superior attention to detail and process adherence with strong administrative and organizational skills.

  • Able to thrive in a changing environment with the ability to pivot as business needs dictate.

  • Team player who will partner with others to achieve department targets.

  • Demonstrated ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams.

  • High School Diploma required. College degree preferred.

The base pay range reflects the anticipated pay range for this position. The actual base pay offered will depend on various factors including individual skills, experience, performance, qualifications, the department budget, and the location where work is performed.
