The National Service Manager is part of the Service team at Turtle Wax Pro, a Division of Transchem. This role is pivotal in supporting customer retention and driving sales growth by supporting the setup of chemical trials, troubleshooting challenges and educating distributors and operators about the Transchem Group chemistry. This role reports directly to the National Service Director and will act as a strategic partner to our Sales Team, providing high-level support and technical guidance in the car care industry. Using exceptional knowledge of car wash chemistry and industry is paramount for success with in-person interaction with current and potential customers.
Key Responsibilities:
- Formulate strategies with Regional Sales Managers to forge new partnerships and enhance our service network.
- Provide advanced technical expertise in car wash chemicals, cleaning chemistry and car wash equipment.
- Develop and conduct targeted training programs to elevate product understanding and operational proficiency.
- Analyze and perform volumetric and competitive cost analysis in order to better position TWP to gain new business.
- Oversee the practical assessment of new product introductions to ensure quality and innovation.
- Act as Turtle Wax's ambassador at significant industry gatherings, articulating our commitment to superior car care.
- Facilitate communication between R&D and sales, ensuring product development aligns with customer feedback and industry trends.
Education & Experience Required:
- Preferably a Bachelor’s degree in Chemistry, Business, Engineering, or related fields.
- At least 5 years of experience in customer service or technical roles within the car wash or related industries.
- Mastery of car wash chemistry, equipment, and industry-specific technology.
Technical Skills & Competencies:
- Proficient in Microsoft 365, Teams, with SAP travel and expense tracking being advantageous.
- Insightful knowledge of industry dynamics, competition, and strategic marketing.
- Proven project management skills, with a strong adherence to KPIs and performance metrics.
- Excellent communicative abilities and the aptitude for creating and presenting compelling training material.
- Independent management of remote work with exceptional time management skills.
- A valid driver's license and proximity to a major airport for frequent travel.
- Physical capability to conduct fieldwork, including the handling of substantial materials.
- Willingness for substantial travel within North America, encompassing up to 75% of work time.

Pay Range: $80,000.00 - $85,000.00 annually
Bonus Eligible: This position is eligible to earn a discretionary bonus based on performance metrics and other criteria outlined in our applicable bonus plan
