As a Computacenter Principal Consultant, you will assist in providing transformative technology solutions for the most visionary companies in the world. You will have the opportunity to work within an industry-leading sales and technical sales team to understand our clients’ needs and craft sustainable roadmaps to achieve their goals. What you’ll be doing
- Designing and implementing single and multi-vendor technology solutions.
- Acting as a technical lead in technology solutions by mentoring, leading a team on larger projects, and reviewing deliverables.
- Presenting technology topics at internal education sessions, and industry user group meetings and/or conferences.
- Operating as a subject matter expert by recommending new technologies, best practices and tools that support the growth of the business.
- Liaising between pre-sales and delivery teams.
- Providing design, deployment, and implementation services of single or multi-vendor solutions.
- Providing input into bid, project, and technical documents.
- Handling issues escalated by Consultants and Lead Consultants and leading a project team.
What you have
- 15+ years of professional experience in large enterprise environments.
- Ability to assess customer environments, make design and solution recommendations, and troubleshoot multi-vendor issues.
- Ability to lead and organize a large virtual technical team, with good negotiation skills and people management skills.
- Solid Understanding of the OSI model, routing and switching protocols, network security, IPv4 networking, subnetting, and operational experience.
- Experience with Cisco DNA Center deployments.
- Experience with multiple wireless vendor designs and deployments.
- Demonstrated confidence to deliver customer-facing discussions.
- Legally eligible to work in the United States.
