Position Overview:
The Marketing Coordinator will play a vital role in supporting the development and execution of content initiatives for our global marketing team. Reporting to the Director of Content Strategy, this position will assist with content creation processes, project coordination, and collaboration across teams, ensuring that content aligns with the company’s brand voice and marketing objectives.
This role is ideal for a highly organized, detail-oriented professional who is passionate about storytelling and thrives in a fast-paced, collaborative environment. The Content Coordinator will serve as a key resource to support content projects and workflows, helping the team create meaningful connections with our audience.
Key Responsibilities:
- Content Support:
- Assist in coordinating content creation efforts, working closely with writers, designers, and external partners to ensure smooth workflows.
- Provide administrative and organizational support for content projects, including maintaining schedules, calendars, and documentation.
- Review and proofread content to ensure accuracy, consistency, and alignment with brand standards.
- Project Collaboration:
- Support the Director of Content Strategy in managing content-related projects and initiatives, ensuring deliverables are aligned with marketing goals.
- Partner with cross-functional teams, including demand generation, product marketing, and events, to facilitate content needs and align strategies.
- Help maintain project management tools and systems to track progress and communicate updates effectively.
- Content Distribution Assistance:
- Collaborate with marketing teams to prepare content for distribution across channels (e.g., website, email, social media).
- Assist in ensuring content is optimized for various platforms and audience segments.
- Monitor and report on content performance metrics to provide actionable insights to the team.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, Journalism, or a related field.
- 1-2 years of experience in content coordination, marketing, or a related role.
- Exceptional organizational and project management skills, with the ability to handle multiple priorities.
- Strong attention to detail, particularly in proofreading and reviewing content.
- Familiarity with content marketing principles and digital marketing platforms.
- Experience with content management systems (CMS) and project management tools is a plus.
- Basic understanding of SEO and analytics tools (e.g., Google Analytics) is a plus.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
