The Senior Revenue Analyst, Clear Aligner Revenue Accounting- Contractor will be located in Tempe, AZ. This position will report to the Senior Revenue Manager, Clear Aligner Revenue Accounting and will support the monthly close activities and newly launched offerings in the Clear Aligner business segment. This person will help to ensure accurate accounting revenue in accordance with company revenue policy and generally accepted accounting principles (GAAP). This role requires attention to detail and collaborative engagement with finance and business teams.

Role expectations

Be responsible for calculating usage rates, analyzing usage rate trends, and investigating the usage rate fluctuations
Prepare revenue and deferred revenue journal entries and account reconciliations for various B/S and P&L accounts
Perform system integrity check to ensure data integrity
Identify opportunities to streamline processes and improve efficiency
Support worldwide product and GEOX expansion by participating in UAT testings and validations
Assist with special projects needed by Management
Assist with Sarbanes-Oxley documentation for internal controls around revenue
Support quarterly reviews and year-end audit by preparing external auditor’s audit requests in a timely manner

What We're Looking For

Bachelor’s degree in Business/Accounting/Finance or equivalent experience AND
6+ years’ revenue accounting experience in applying ASC 605/606 guidance in publicly traded high technology companies
Practical experience navigating general accounting functions in SAP
Knowledge of US GAAP and Revenue Accounting ASC 605/606
Familiarity with large-scale SAP ERP and SAP BI environments (COPA, HANA, etc.)
Detail-oriented focus and demonstrated ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet deadlines
Strong to Excellent Excel Skills (Pivot Tables, Lookups, SAP Excel Analysis, Graphs and Charts)
Excellent written and oral communication skills
Team player and solid communicator (verbal and written)
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
Strong work ethic, able to work in fast paced, changing environment

Pay Transparency

If provided, base salary or wage rate ranges are the range in which Align reasonably expects to set a candidate’s pay for the posted position. Actual placement depends on the individual skills and experience level of a candidate plus the total compensation and equity across team members. For other locations outside of the primary location, the base salary range will be adjusted geographically.

For Field Sales roles, the salary listed is the base pay only and does not include the applicable incentive compensation plan. A cost of living adjustment may be added to base pay for higher cost areas in the U.S.

Our internship hourly rates are a standard pay determined based on the position and your location, year in school, degree, and experience.
