About the role:
As a Senior Sales Solution Consultant – Sales Engineering Group, you’ll utilize your in-depth product knowledge to help sales staff uncover requirements, recommend and demonstrate the FIS Cross Asset Trading and Risk Platform (FrontArena). What you will be doing:

This is an advanced professional role with broad understanding of cross asset trading and risk in order to show off the FIS Cross Asset Trading and Risk Platform (formally FrontArena) and all its strengths to prospective clients. You will need to be able to resolve complex issues requiring in-depth knowledge and skills around the product as well as operational processes and related to Front, Middle, and Back Office trading across multiple asset classes. You will need to exercise judgment in decision making, determine approach, methods and procedures to use on new assignments. You will need to utilize advanced knowledge of all products within a specific business unit and their relationship to other business unit solutions to assist sales team in addressing unique client/prospect requirements. May coordinate and guide the work of others. Typically requires a minimum of five years business experience with specific solutions, products and marketplace.

  • Develops appropriate product solutions to meet client/prospect business requirements. This will mainly be done as Proof Of Concept solutions whereby the FIS Cross Asset Trading and Risk Platform is configured for the appropriate client/prospect use case(s)

  • Present and demonstrate the FIS the FIS Cross Asset Trading and Risk Platform, as either standalone offering or in conjunction with other FIS Solution offerings (Treasury, Payment Hub, Investment, Banking, etc).

  • Drives solutioning process on behalf of sales executives to obtain client/prospect requirements, identifies and prioritizes functionality gaps with sales representatives and clients/prospects, initiates request-source process to generate estimates to address functionality gaps or define appropriate workarounds and gathers all necessary information for internal suppliers to commit to performing the conversion.

  • Complete RFPs (Request for Proposal) and RFIs (Request for Information) against tight deadlines

  • Participates in business requirement review sessions with clients/prospects, and document the requested scope, and provide effort estimates

  • Creation of proposal documents, outlining project scope and requirements.

  • Configures the presentation environment to the client’s requirements and delivers product presentations/demonstrations to clients/prospects either in person or via web-based tools.

  • Creates and maintains product presentations(pptx) and application environments.

  • Participates in product release process and liaise with development to be able to maintain the presales presentation environments with upgrades, and configuration of new functionality in the releases. Train members of the presales team on new functionality

  • Train the sales solution consultants on new functionality and how best to present this to clients/prospects

  • Provides feedback on client/prospect requirements to FIS product managers on an ongoing basis.

  • Interacts with vendors and other organizations where appropriate to implement integration with third-party vendor solutions within the demo platform.

  • Liaise with platform architects and technical teams to improve the presentation environment

What you will need:

  • Possess in-depth knowledge of the FIS Cross Asset Trading and Risk Platform for all modules of the application and must have implemented the solution.

  • Must have at least 10+ years of experience with the FIS Cross Asset Trading and Risk Platform (In Sales or Professional Services)

  • Understand the the FIS Cross Asset Trading and Risk Platform database and table structure and be able to query it using MS SQL and/or PostgreSQL. Have the ability to create databases, run scripts, query tables, and normal maintenance.

  • Must be able to independently configure the FIS Cross Asset Trading and Risk Platform to be able to deliver client/prospect reports for PoC activities

  • Works well in an independent, as well as team environment

  • Demonstrated ability to interact with and provide appropriate communications to senior management

  • Be based anywhere in the United States of America/Canada

FIS is committed to providing its employees with an exciting career opportunity and competitive compensation. The pay range for this full-time position is $138,850.00 - $229,120.00 and reflects the minimum and maximum target for new hire salaries for this position based on the posted role, level, and location. Within the range, actual individual starting pay is determined by additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training. Any changes in work location will also impact actual individual starting pay. Please consult with your recruiter about the specific salary range for your preferred location during the hiring process.
