Job description

MCA, your trusted advisor for wireless communications, data, and security, is seeking an experienced Data Processing Specialist to support our growing Central team. The position is remote within our company footprint.

WHAT YOU WILL BE DOING:
  • Accurately enter, update, and maintain master item data within the NetSuite ERP system.
  • Create and modify item records including SKUs, descriptions, categories, units of measure, pricing, cost, and BOMs (Bill of Materials).
  • Ensure data integrity through validation, audits, and adherence to established data governance standards.
  • Collaborate with teams such as Procurement, Inventory, Engineering, and Finance to gather required data and resolve discrepancies.
  • Understand vendors of the business, how items are purchased, and how items are sold to ensure accurate set up in NetSuite ERP system.
  • Monitor data entry queues, prioritize tasks, and meet processing deadlines.
  • Assist in data cleanup and migration projects as needed.
  • Document data entry processes and contribute to process improvement initiatives.
  • Identify and escalate issues related to data quality or system errors.

 

WHAT YOU WILL BRING TO THE TEAM:

  • Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Data Analysis, or a related field
  • High school diploma or equivalent; associate degree or higher preferred.
  • 1–2 years of data entry or data administration experience, preferably in an ERP environment.
  • Proficiency with NetSuite ERP or other major ERP systems.
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Excel and comfortable working with large data sets.
  • Ability to work independently and manage time effectively.
  • Experience working with master data in a manufacturing, distribution, or retail environment, preferred
  • Knowledge of inventory management, item classification, and BOM structures, preferred.

 

YOUR ENVIRONMENT AND PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:

The physical environment requires the employee to work inside.

 

While performing the duties of this job, the employee is required to frequently stand, walk, sit; use hands to finger, handle, or feel objects, tools, or controls; reach with hands and arms; climb stairs; talk or hear; lift (overhead, waist level) from the floor, bending, frequently utilize near vision use for reading and computer use; occasionally move equipment weighing up to 15 pounds, and frequently position self to maintain computers or other equipment as needed.
