SharePoint Expert – Consultant

Role Overview:

We are looking for an experienced SharePoint Expert to support us on a short-term consultancy basis. The ideal consultant will possess deep technical knowledge of both SharePoint on-premises and SharePoint Online, with proven expertise in migrations, licensing strategies, customization, and integrations. This role involves providing high-level guidance to our internal team in evaluating and planning SharePoint migration projects, advising on licensing considerations, and identifying best-fit integration approaches.

The engagement is expected to last for 1–2 days, with a time commitment of 2–3 hours per day. The role is fully remote and offers flexibility, ideal for professionals who can offer quick expert input in a consultancy capacity. If the associated project materializes, there is potential for a more formal or extended engagement. This is an excellent opportunity for a seasoned SharePoint professional to lend strategic insights in a focused and impactful manner.

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide expert consultation on SharePoint Online architecture, planning, and migration approaches.

• Advise on licensing models and optimization strategies for SharePoint Online.

• Assess on-premise SharePoint environments and recommend migration paths.

• Provide input on customization and integration options within SharePoint Online.

• Support pre-sales or initial planning discussions with internal stakeholders or clients.

Required Skills:

• Deep expertise in SharePoint (2013/2016/2019/Online).

• Proven experience in on-prem to SharePoint Online migrations.

• Strong understanding of SharePoint licensing structures and compliance.

• Hands-on knowledge of SharePoint customization and third-party integrations.

• Ability to clearly articulate technical solutions to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
