Job description

We are looking for our first members of our Business Development and Partnership team. You are a highly motivated individual contributor who will work closely with our current and future partners. You are able to identify who to partner with across industries and build and nurture relationships to drive growth. You will work across all of our revenue streams and run towards our largest opportunities. You thrive in a hyper-growth tech company. You are creative in your thinking and tactical in how we identify, build and nurture partnerships to drive growth. You love closing deals. 

Responsibilities

  • Identify, build and nurture key relationships to drive growth

  • Design and execute deals including collaborate with internal stakeholders across finance, legal, product and growth

  • Build and maintain strong relationships with our partners

  • Identify new industries and understand who to partner with

  • Develop and implement pricing strategies across different kinds of partnerships 

  • Collaborate with the product and research team to understand and communicate the product capabilities and requirements

Background

  • You have 5+ years of business development / partnership experience in a hyper-growth environment

  • You have taken a company into a new industry and established them as a key partner to the key players 

  • You have demonstrated the ability to grow partnerships over time with increasing commitments 

  • You are a self-starter who gets the job done

  • You have outstanding interpersonal skills and can build great relationships 

  • You have the vision and charisma to understand our mission and embed it into our sales efforts 

  • You think outside the box with regards to whom are partners are today and in the future  

  • You have a sense of humor

Compensation

  • The pay range for this position in California is $160,000 - $220,000yr; however, base pay offered may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, candidate location, and experience. We also offer competitive equity packages in the form of stock options and a comprehensive benefits plan.
