SAP Workflow Consultant (Remote, Slovakia)

Job Description:

Key Responsibilities:

Workflow Development & Configuration:

• Design and implement SAP Business Workflows tailored to business process requirements (e.g., purchase requisition approvals, invoice processing, HR processes).
• Configure standard and custom workflows in SAP ECC and/or S/4HANA environments.
• Develop custom workflow templates, tasks, events, rules, and deadline monitoring functionalities.

Technical Integration:

• Collaborate with ABAP developers for custom function modules, event triggers, and enhancements required to support workflows.
• Ensure seamless integration with SAP modules such as MM, SD, FI/CO, HR, and with SAP Fiori inbox or MyInbox apps.
• Utilize BRF+, BTEs, BADIs, and enhancement frameworks where applicable.

Monitoring & Support:

• Monitor workflows, resolve workflow errors, and provide root cause analysis and long-term fixes.
• Maintain workflow logs, manage user substitutions, and address user-specific issues (e.g., missed tasks, notifications).
• Ensure optimal workflow performance and minimal system overhead.

Collaboration & Documentation:

• Work closely with business stakeholders to gather workflow requirements and ensure alignment with business objectives.
• Prepare and maintain documentation including technical specs, user guides, and process flow diagrams.
• Provide training to business users and internal support teams as needed.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field.
• 4+ years of hands-on experience in SAP Workflow development and configuration.
• Strong experience in SAP ECC and/or S/4HANA workflow environments.
• Good knowledge of related SAP modules (MM, FI/CO, HR, SD, etc.).
• Proficient in ABAP programming, including object-oriented ABAP.
• Experience with workflow tools like SAP Fiori MyInbox, SAP Business Workplace, or NWBC.

Preferred Skills:

• Experience with SAP Fiori workflow extensions and UI5 integration.
• Familiarity with BRF+ for rule-based workflows.
• Exposure to SAP Cloud Workflow or SAP Build Process Automation is an advantage.
• Knowledge of agile project delivery methodologies (Scrum, DevOps).
• SAP Certification in Workflow or Process Automation (optional but desirable).

• Ability to translate business processes into efficient automated workflows.

We offer salary from 3200 eur/brutto/month. Salary can be higher depending on experience and skillset
