Job Description

Cetera Financial Group is currently seeking an intern for our company’s office located in St. Cloud, Minnesota. This function is under the Finance team.

What You Will Do

• Perform daily bank and suspense account reconciliations.
• Reconcile and record daily cash receipts.
• Prepare entries for weekly commission cycle.
• Assist in daily security settlement process and bank account funding.
• Assist in the monthly close process by preparing journal entries.
• Prepare monthly balance sheet account reconciliations.
• Assist with audit requests.
• Prepare various schedules and analysis used in other accounting tasks.
  
  

What You Need To Have

• College student or recent graduate with a good academic record
• Accounting or Finance major
• Experience with Excel
• Enthusiasm and positive attitude
• Willingness to start workday at 8:00 central time

Compensation

The base annual salary range for this role is $22/hourly. Base annual salary depends on a wide array of factors, including but not limited to skill set, years and depth of experience, certifications, and location. Base annual salary may also differ significantly due to geography and cost of labor considerations.
