API Test Automation Engineer with Python

Location: Hopkins, MN

Required Qualifications

• 8+ years of experience in Quality Engineering and Assurance
• 5+ years of experience in automation of API testing (Postman, ReadyAPI or similar tools)
• 5+ years of strong hands-on experience in Python, SQL, Load Testing, Azure cloud knowledge (Azure Synapse, Azure Data Factory, Azure Event Hub)
• Working experience on CI/CD, Jenkins and different test automation libraries
• Expertise in using JIRA and any other test management tools like Quality Center / ALM
• Experience in working with Agile based projects
• Should be able to play lead role by coordinating onsite and offshore resources along with customer communications
  
  

Preferred skills: Playwright (front end test automation experience) and Power BI

Roles/Responsibilities

• Participating in agile ceremonies.
• Coordinate with offshore/onsite teams.
• Co-ordinate with clients and business to collect the requirements.
• Co-ordinate with product manager or owner to clarify the requirements
• Setup automation framework
• Write test plans and cases for in scope requirements/user stories.
• Prepare test data
• Script automation code for candidate test cases
• Execute the automation scripts
• Very strong Interpersonal skills with excellent verbal and written communication
