The World Service Center provides assistance to our customers interested in learning more about our Travel Insurance offerings. We utilize a consultative selling approach to ensure our customers are provided with the coverage they need for each trip they plan. Through this approach, we make recommendations appropriately matching the customer with the best product for their needs. We will take the time necessary to educate our customers on our different insurance offerings, along with the benefits and services Travel Guard provides designed to support unique challenges that can be encountered while traveling. We pride ourselves on our Customer Service and competitive offerings in the market place to create repeat customers. Responsibilities Include:
Maintain knowledge of insurance products to accurately describe benefits and offerings to our customers.
Create a positive experience over the phone for all clientele requesting our services and assistance.
Multitask work streams to effectively move work forward in all areas (call handling, email, etc.)
Ability to navigate multiple systems while effectively handling calls.
Creative and critical thinking to provide out-of-the-box solutions where necessary.
Provide keen attention to detail to appropriately document and capture content of phone calls in our case management/policy systems.
Must be able to meet state licensing requirements to sell travel insurance in all US states and jurisdictions as required.
Work closely with leadership to fine tune skillsets and apply feedback to meet role expectations.
Basic Qualifications:
High school diploma or equivalent
Ability to work 2nd shift: 1p-9p, 2p-10p or 3p-11p with a biweekly weekend requirement
Ability to work from the office 2-3 shifts per week
Preferred Qualifications:
A record of providing outstanding customer service (1+ year preferred)
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Attention to detail and accuracy in gathering and entering information into a system
Analytical skills in reviewing and interpreting policy coverage and claim status
Ability to effectively manage and prioritize tasks
Ability to respond to high end clientele with professionalism and clarity
