Responsibilities:

  • Lead design, development, and configuration of ServiceNow ITSM and ITOM products
  • Complete hands-on development within the ServiceNow platform, including but not limited to: client scripts, business rules, ui actions, ui policies, data policies, workflow, flow designer, integration hub spokes, script includes, catalog items, portal widgets, ui pages, event and alert rules.
  • Perform code review of peer development changes to ensure compliance with the Sabre ServiceNow Development standards and vendor’s best practices.
  • Lead upgrade/patch skip remediation, ensuring compliance with the Sabre ServiceNow Development standards and vendor’s best practices.
  • Works with the Business / Product Team and the development team to provide an estimated level of effort
  • Take ownership of high-level/complex business requirements and work them to completion.
  • Understand business user stories/requirements to provide the technical design and solution for product enhancements / new features.
  • Deliver product enhancements, new features, and defect fixes on time and error-free
  • Collaborate with many teams and stakeholders locally and remotely to efficiently deliver high-quality product enhancements, new features, and defect fixes.
  • Provide updated documentation of all product work, including but not limited to design documentation, technical operations/support documentation, and release notes.
  • Support existing and build new interfaces, and understand available integrations with 3rd party tools.
  • Participate in daily standups to report status, delays, and risks to scrum master/team leads / management.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's/master’s degree in computer science, Information Technology, or a related field.
  •  Minimum of 5-6 years of experience as a ServiceNow Developer, with a proven track record of successful project implementations, including experience with the Service Catalog module and creating custom applications.
  • Experience creating request forms, developing integration with external systems, implementing security (including Access Control Lists), and enhancing the user interface to provide a custom look and feel.
  • Ability to implement moderate to complex custom widgets and backend scripting.
  • Strong knowledge of the ServiceNow platform architecture, modules, and functionalities.
  •  Hands-on experience in configuring Business Rules, Client Scripts, UI Policies, UI Scripts, UI Actions, UI Pages, Script Includes, Access Control Lists, complex workflows, and Solution migration to a higher environment.
  •  Experience in developing ServiceNow integrations using APIs, web services, and data
