Job description

We are looking to grow our agency with highly driven and motivated individuals, who have the desire to pursue life insurance sales, while building and managing their own business portfolio of clients.

As a virtual life insurance agent at our agency, you will have the opportunity to build your own network of clients through our one-of-a-kind insurance sales platform. With access to 60 of the top insurance carrier's products and resources, our agents can ensure each client experience is customized to meet exactly what they are looking for.

You will have access to our renowned lead-based system, connecting with each customer to better understand their needs and scheduling daily appointments. Insurance agents conduct risk assessments, provide rate estimates, and explain various policy types and coverage information based upon each customer's specific need. Agents also provide ongoing support and guidance for existing customers and may assist with the filing of claims as needed or policy renewals.

A background in the business field and/or in insurance or sales roles is preferred. These roles do have licensing requirements. In-depth knowledge of insurance basics and regulations is helpful. Strong sales capabilities and good communication skills are also an asset.

  • Calling on leads, scheduling appointments, identifying customer needs, and providing appropriate products and services.
  • Use a customer-focused, needs-based review process to educate customers about insurance options.
  • Leads with a strong relationship-building focus and desire with each customer conversation.
  • Remain current in product changes, licensing, technical developments, and continuing education.
  • Experience with CRM software and systems such as spreadsheets and Google Suite are helpful.
  • Is a leader and problem solver with strict attention to detail.
  • Demonstrated critical thinking and decision-making skills.
  • Has a sound work ethic and strong people skills.
