We are looking for a Backend Developer (Node.js) to join our team and help deliver scalable technical solutions for clients, internal teams, and third-party vendors. This role is focused on enabling seamless API-based integrations between internal and external systems—including ticketing, CRM, financial tools, and custom websites while providing consulting, support, and technical leadership in API architecture and usage.

Key Responsibilities:
● Collaborate with clients, internal teams, and external vendors to understand technical needs and design scalable API-based solutions.
● Act as a point of escalation for complex or high-profile API integration issues.
● Create or update Postman Collections and other tooling to support troubleshooting and development.
● Provide training and consulting on implemented API integrations.
● Stay informed on integrations with third-party systems, including CRM, finance, calendar listings, and customer support tools.
● Work on full custom website integrations and support calendar/listing integrations on B2C websites.
● Contribute to best practices and internal documentation for API use and configuration.
Qualifications:
● Strong coding skills, especially in JavaScript; experience with Node.js.
● Proven experience working with HTTP or RESTful APIs.
● Experience in SaaS environments. Knowledge of ticketing, e-commerce, or CRM systems in the arts/culture sector is a plus.
● Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to apply technical solutions to client or infrastructure challenges.
● Strong communication skills and ability to gather and interpret client requirements.
● Ability to manage multiple projects and prioritize deliverables.
● Client-facing experience and ability to build trust-based relationships with stakeholders.
● Fluent spoken English (daily use with international teams).
