Serve as the first QA hire on the team and collaborate with the Platform Team.

QA new features and functionality during sprints as developers complete tasks.

Conduct regression testing of existing platform functionality before major releases.

Provide first line support for reporting platform bugs and perform initial investigations.

Job description

First QA hire on the team
Join Platform Team to QA new features and functionality in sprint as developers complete tasks
Work with product and leadership to understand user flows and expectations so you can think like a user
Regression test existing platform functionality before major releases
Build out automated regression suite using Selenium/Eggplant/etc
Provide first line support to sales and customer success reporting platform bugs. Perform initial investigation, reproduce behavior, and confirm expected behavior. Prioritize and plan with product and Platform leadership;

Requirements

Must have background in SaaS, preferably something analytical/numerical
Experience testing from the perspective of a user/customer, not requirements.documentation
Experience with 1 or more automated testing tools/frameworks like Selenium
At least basic scripting in Bash/Python/etc for purposes of automation
Basic SQL to QA data quality and data issues
