Your Roles and Responsibilities:
Manage and maintain inventory levels across multiple client sites across the globe.
Place timely orders for supplies to ensure adequate stock availability across sites.
Collaborate with suppliers and logistics partners to ensure timely delivery of supplies.
Respond to open tickets and provide support to end-users on inventory-related queries.
Identify and address any stock shortages, overages, overstocks or other discrepancies.
Monitor inventory levels and analyze stock movements to identify trends and patterns.
Coordinate with internal teams for accurate forecasting of inventory needs.
Rebalance stocks between sites to ensure optimal inventory distribution.
Monitor and manage inventory turnover rates to maximize efficiency.
Provide regular & ad hoc reports on inventory performance to management and stakeholders, using Gsheets, Lookerstudio and/or other analytical tools
Develop and implement inventory management strategies to optimize stock levels and minimize costs.
Analyze inventory performance metrics and develop action plans to improve results.
Work closely with the inventory management team to develop and implement best practices.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop and implement inventory process improvements.
Ensure stock accuracy in order to track stock levels accurately across all assigned locations.
Help coordinate regular audits to maintain inventory accuracy and minimize discrepancies.
Ensure compliance with company & client policies related to inventory management.
Continuously develop professional skills and knowledge in inventory management to contribute to the overall success of the Astreya Inventory Management team.
Required Qualifications/Skills:
Bachelor’s degree (B.S/B.A) from four-college or university in the area of Supply Chain, Logistics, Business Management or related degree
Minimum 2 years of experience in inventory management, preferably within a multinational company or in the technology industry
Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex data and draw actionable insights
Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to work effectively across different time zones and with various stakeholders, including suppliers, logistics partners, and internal teams
Follows standard practice and procedures when analyzing situations or data
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, managing multiple tasks and priorities, while maintaining a strong attention to detail and adhering to deadlines.
Preferred Qualifications:
Proficiency in SAP and/or Integrated Business Planning (IBP) systems, with hands-on experience in inventory management modules
Familiarity with project management
Physical Demand & Work Environment:
Must have the ability to perform office-related tasks which may include prolonged sitting or standing
Must have the ability to move from place to place within an office environment
Must be able to use a computer
Must have the ability to communicate effectively
Some positions may require occasional repetitive motion or movements of the wrists, hands, and/or fingers
