The Bioprocess Account Manager Germany Southwest (d/f/m) is responsible for driving overall customer success aligned to the Cytiva strategy. You own the overall customer relationship across the accounts and are the primary contact between the company and customers. You grow the business through an understanding of the market, familiarity with the needs of customer, and knowledge of the product portfolio.

This position reports to the Bioprocess Territory Manager, Central South and is part of the Central Bioprocess Sales Team and will be fully remote. Ideal candidate is located in Southwest of Germany.

What you will do:

  • Understand and map the structure of customer contacts within selected accounts, forming strong business relationships by regular customer field visits to understand the customer's business issues and challenges. Actively position Cytiva as a trusted partner with respect to the company´s vision.

  • Take personal responsibility of your budget by driving Cytiva's commercial positioning. Focus on actively finding and developing new business opportunities to accelerate growth.

  • Engage sales specialists in both the design and execution of account business plans and to undertake a key role in driving effective local team work within a complex matrix sales environment.

  • Actively support Business development and Marketing initiatives in the field with aim of improving market share in the allocated accounts.

  • Accurately forecast sales and growth opportunities within designated territory, using sales tools and applications.

Who you are:

  • Bachelor's Degree in Science or Business or the equivalent

  • At least five years of sales experience and demonstrated track record of success as a Life Science Sales Representative or Sales Manager

  • Deep understanding of Bioprocess customer's needs and business drivers, using this knowledge to develop account plans and strategies

  • Self-starter - able to manage time, organize and prioritize workload

  • Excellent interpersonal skills including team working skills and good communication skills

Travel, Motor Vehicle Record & Physical/Environment Requirements:

  • Ability to travel up to 70%

  • A valid driver’s license with an acceptable driving record

It would be a plus if you also possess previous experience in:

  • Business market knowledge

  • Great ability to negotiate price agreements

  • Systems and Tools:  Sales Force and QlikSense
