Position Overview 

We’re seeking a Director of Marketing who will lead Service Nation's marketing initiatives to drive growth in new memberships, enhance engagement with existing members, and promote events, training programs, and partnerships. This role requires a strategic leader with a deep understanding of integrated marketing, membership growth strategies, event promotion, and partnership development. The Director will oversee a team of marketers, ensuring alignment with business objectives, product offerings, and sales strategies. 

Key Responsibilities 

Strategic Marketing Leadership 

  • Develop and implement comprehensive marketing strategies that align with Service Nation's business objectives, focusing on membership growth, member engagement, and brand positioning. 

  • Collaborate with executive leadership, product development, and sales teams to ensure marketing initiatives support product launches, sales goals, and overall business growth. 

Membership Acquisition and Retention 

  • Design and execute targeted marketing campaigns to attract new members across the HVAC, plumbing, and electrical industries.  

  • Develop retention programs to enhance existing member engagement, promote membership upgrades, and reduce churn.  

  • Utilize data-driven insights to segment audiences and personalize marketing efforts for maximum impact.  

Event Marketing and Promotion 

  • Lead the marketing efforts for Service Nation's events, including training sessions, workshops, and tradeshows. 

  • Develop promotional strategies to increase event attendance, sponsorships, and overall visibility. 

  • Collaborate with event planners and coordinators to ensure cohesive messaging and branding across all event materials. 

Partnership Marketing 

  • Identify and cultivate relationships with potential rebate vendors, developing programs to drive new partnerships. 

  • Manage marketing initiatives for existing partnerships, ensuring mutual value and alignment with Service Nation's goals. 

  • Collaborate with partners to create co-branded marketing materials and campaigns that benefit both parties.  

Team Leadership and Development 

  • Lead, mentor, and develop a marketing team, fostering a culture of creativity, accountability, and continuous improvement. 

  • Set clear performance goals, provide regular feedback, and support professional development opportunities for team members.  

Budget Management 

  • Develop and manage the marketing budget, ensuring efficient allocation of resources to achieve strategic objectives. 

  • Monitor expenditures, analyze ROI, and adjust strategies as necessary to optimize marketing spend. 

Qualifications 

  • Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business Administration, or a related field; Master's degree preferred. 

  • Minimum of 10 years of experience in marketing, with at least 5 years in a leadership role. 

  • Proven track record in membership-based organizations, preferably within the home services or related industries  

  • Experience in event marketing, including promoting training programs and tradeshows. 

  • Strong understanding of partnership marketing, with experience in developing and managing vendor relationships. 

  • Excellent leadership and team management skills, with the ability to inspire and motivate a team. 

  • Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively across departments and with external partners. 

  • Proficiency in digital marketing strategies, including social media, email marketing, SEO, and content marketing. 

  • Analytical mindset, with the ability to interpret data and make informed decisions. 

  • Creative thinker with a strategic approach to problem-solving.

The EverCommerce team is distributed globally, with teams in the U.S., Canada, the U.K., Jordan, New Zealand, and Australia. With a widely distributed team, we are used to working remotely across different time zones. This role can be based anywhere in the United States or Canada – if you’re close to one of our offices, we can set you up in-office or you can work 100% remotely. Please note that you must be eligible to work without sponsorship to qualify for this position, and this role may require travel to our Corporate Headquarters in Denver, Colorado, or to other office locations around North America.

Compensation: {US BRANDS ARE REQUIRED TO POST SALARY RANGES} The target base compensation for this position is $180,000 to $190,000 USD per hour/year in most US locations. Final offer amounts are determined by multiple factors including location, local market variances, and candidate experience and expertise, and may vary from the amounts listed above.
