Newsletter Virtual Assistant - Virtual Assistant

This is a remote position.

We’re looking for a creative, organized, and results-driven Virtual Assistant to take ownership of our new physical therapy-focused newsletter. This role is ideal for someone who understands the power of storytelling, knows how to collaborate with AI tools like ChatGPT, and can build a content engine that educates, inspires, and grows a loyal community.

This isn’t a copy-paste content job. We're looking for someone who leads with heart, writes with purpose, and brings a strategic mindset to every piece of content.

Responsibilities

Newsletter Production

• Plan, organize, and create weekly email newsletters (from scratch or using AI-assisted drafts)
  

• Maintain a content calendar with 6–8 weeks of scheduled material
  

• Collaborate weekly with Mitch and Will to gather stories, insights, and direction
  

Content Writing & Editing

• Write original, engaging content for physical therapists with a mix of heart, humor, and value
  

• Use AI tools (like ChatGPT) to enhance creativity and speed—never to replace your voice
  

• Source monthly guest columns from PT influencers, thought leaders, and motivational contributors
  

Audience Growth & Engagement

• Research and execute newsletter growth strategies (lead magnets, paid promotions, shareable content)
  

• Partner with Will on paid ad testing and subscriber analytics
  

• Support the creation of landing pages, email sequences, and segmentation strategies
  

Marketing & Sponsorship Support

• Track and report key metrics (subscriber growth, open rates, CTRs)
  

• Coordinate with potential sponsors and newsletter partners
  

• Help secure and schedule guest features to expand reach and relevance
  

Admin & Team Support

• Assist with inbox management and email communications
  

• Support Mitch with occasional admin and project-related tasks
  

Requirements

• Proven experience in email newsletter creation, ideally in healthcare, wellness, or education
  

• Excellent English writing and editing skills, with a warm and conversational tone
  

• Comfortable using email platforms like ConvertKit, Beehiiv, or ActiveCampaign
  

• Familiar with ChatGPT or other AI tools to enhance content creation
  

• Knowledge of social media and community growth strategies
  

• Bonus: Experience working with physical therapists, ghostwriting, or direct-response copywriting
  

• Highly reliable, resourceful, and mission-driven
