Job Description:

Parsons is looking for an amazingly talented Deltek System Administrator to join our team! In this role, you will provide daily support for the Deltek Enterprise Suite, including Costpoint, Time & Expense, and Cognos Applications. This position entails ongoing maintenance and enhancement of our core financial accounting platform with a strong command of IT skills, practical expertise, and a thorough understanding of Costpoint’s architecture. 

What You'll Be Doing:

  • Responsible for the day-to-day system administration and support of the Deltek Costpoint, Deltek Time & Expense and Cognos Reporting systems.
  • Technical lead for Costpoint upgrades, system enhancement and issue resolution.
  • Submit Deltek support tickets and collaborate with Deltek representatives to identify and implement appropriate bug fixes, patches, and software updates.
  • Manage Costpoint system settings and configuration.
  • Monitor system performance, troubleshoot issues and provide timely resolutions.
  • Ensure system compliance with company policies, government regulations (e.g., DCAA, SOX).
  • Assist internal and external auditors by providing system reports and logs.
  • Ensure system backup procedures are in place.
  • Assist with disaster recovery planning and testing.
  • Provide technical support to end- users on Costpoint, TE and Cognos functionality.
  • Document system configuration and network architecture.
  • Work closely with Finance and IT teams to ensure the successful support of Deltek applications.
  • Foster and maintain positive relationships with Business Systems team members and customers across the enterprise inclusive of senior leadership.
  • Assist with other tasks, initiatives, or system -related projects that align with departmental and organization objectives.

What Required Skills You'll Bring:

  • Education: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Accounting or equivalent combination of education and work experience.
  • Experience: Minimum 5+ years’ experience in business management software and applications with technical support experience including system upgrades, planning, design, audits, troubleshooting and resolving technical issues.
  • Experience with Deltek Costpoint, Time & Expense (TE), and Cognos systems.
  • On-call availability outside of normal working hours.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to work independently and collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines.

What Desired Skills You'll Bring:

  • Experience in data analysis tools (Excel, SQL, Power BI, Tableau)

Salary Range: $100,900.00 - $176,600.00
