Here's what you can expect as a Senior Financial Analyst, Transactions /

M&A:

The Senior Financial Analyst (SFA) is a key member of the Corporate Development (M&A) team and will be responsible for supporting all development and growth efforts. We’re seeking an individual who is looking to join a high-volume transaction execution team where long-term internal career development is not only possible, but preferred. Projects include but are not limited to acquisitions, joint venture de novos, and partial or whole divestitures. In addition to others on the deal team, the SFA will work closely with Operations, Legal, Compliance, Human Resources, Integration, IT, Finance, Accounting, and other departments as needed.

This position is primarily remote but would have the option to work out of our North Bethesda, MD office along with the department’s Vice President and two Transaction Directors.

Specific Job Functions:

- Build complex Excel valuation models for potential acquisitions and divestitures

- Evaluate deals through discounted cash flow analyses and metrics such as IRR, EBITDA multiples, etc.

- Create pro forma income and cash flow statements for potential joint ventures

- Manage due diligence process including leading physical site visits, coordinating with sellers, collecting data, and ensuring that all areas of the diligence process undergo appropriate review

- Create presentations and proposals for potential sellers, joint venture partners, senior management, board of directors, etc.

- Work closely with Transaction Directors and legal teams in the negotiation and drafting of definitive agreements

Qualifications:

- Bachelor's degree in Finance or a related field at top undergraduate program

- 2-4 years of transaction-oriented analytical experience; investment banking, consulting, transaction advisory, or corporate development experience preferred

- Must have significant direct transaction experience

- Must have strong finance, analytical, and interpersonal skills

- Extremely proficient in Excel

- Ability to thrive in fast-paced deal environment

- Self starter and problem solver with ability to think and work independently

- Strong communicator and relationship builder with the various stakeholders in a given transaction

Salary/ Wage Range

$75,200.00 - $110,400.00 / year

If a candidate is hired, they will be paid at least the minimum wage according to their geographical jurisdiction and the exemption status for the position.

New York Exempt:
• New York City and Long Island: $64,350.00/year
• Nassau, Suffolk, and Westchester counties: $64,350.00/year
• Remainder of New York state: $60,405.80/year

New York Non-exempt:
• New York City and Long Island: $16.50/hour
• Nassau, Suffolk, and Westchester counties: $16.50/hour
• Remainder of New York state: $15.50/hour


Washington Exempt: $77,968.80/year

Washington Non-exempt:
• Bellingham: $17.66/hour
• Burien: $21.16/hour
• Unincorporated King County: $20.29/hour
• Renton: $20.90/hour
• Seattle: $20.76/hour
• Tukwila: $21.10/hour
• Remainder of Washington state: $16.66/hour
