Position Purpose:  Understand business needs and Trade Compliance requirements. Collect and analyze data to provide accurate information, ensuring the company continues to exceed Trade Compliance regulations and achieve goals and strategic objectives within Supply Chain and the broader company. Create, recommend, and implement process improvements, particularly in the area of data analysis.

About the role: 

  • Gathers and analyzes data with the objective of responding to Trade Compliance and business needs. Understands and is able to identify data sources.  The analyst should have advanced knowledge of the data sources available.

  • Learns and maintains up-to-date knowledge of customs rules and regulations.

  • Preemptively identifies and analyzes customs and Trade Compliance issues. Provides advice and assistance for developing strategy to navigate changing trade landscape.

  • Assists in establishing documentation and in maintaining department import policies and procedures.

  • Makes recommendations or guides others on the improvement of existing procedures and processes, decreasing time and steps to reproduce, by using the tools available.  Implement best practices, standardization, new concepts and ideas. 

  • Provides mentoring, guidance, analytical support, and technical expertise to other analysts as needed in order to achieve goals. 

  • Seeks to gain insight into business operations to find opportunities to positively impact and achieve company financial goals, sharing the knowledge with the team. 

  • Participates in projects as required to provide data and analytical support. 

About you: 

  • Education Level: Advanced student (or graduated) with significant coursework in Computer Science, Data Analysis, or related field (preferred but not limited to) 

  • Seeking to apply data analysis skills to a real, impactful business area

  • Willing and able to present data insights to all levels of the company

  • English Level: Advanced (C1 level)  

  • Previous experience is not required, but it is a plus

Skills and Qualifications:

  • Data Analysis
