Role Overview

As a Medical Biller, you will play a vital role in ensuring accurate, timely billing and claim resolution. Your contributions will directly impact revenue cycle performance and support the delivery of exceptional care to every patient.

Responsibilities

• Follow up on unpaid or underpaid claims
  

• Post insurance and patient payments to accounts accurately
  

• Review and resolve billing discrepancies and payment errors
  

• Investigate and appeal denied claims
  

• Reconcile ERAs and EOBs
  

• Request and manage necessary records for claim support
  

• Generate billing reports for management review
  

• Maintain and update accurate patient records

Requirements

• 2+ years of experience in medical billing, preferably in a physical therapy or outpatient setting
  

• Strong understanding of insurance processes, denial management, and payment posting
  

• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  

• Tech-savvy and comfortable navigating EMR platforms and spreadsheets
  

• Reliable, self-motivated, and able to work independently while staying connected to the team
  

• Committed to accuracy, follow-through, and professionalism in all billing activities
