This is a remote position.
We are seeking a detail-oriented Finance Officer experienced in managing internal accounts, finance and bookkeeping within an MSP environment. The successful candidate will handle day-to-day accounting functions, maintain financial records and support financial management processes primarily using Xero, with Autotask experience highly regarded.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
● Generate client invoices, manage billing processes and monitor collections.
● Manage daily bookkeeping tasks including accounts payable and receivable.
● Conduct bank and credit card reconciliations regularly.
● Read and review monthly Profit & Loss Reports and provide insights.
● Prepare monthly financial statements and management reports.
● Champion Autodesk improvements and streamline accounting processes.
● Maintain accurate records in Xero and Autotask to ensure data integrity.
● Collaborate with internal teams and key stakeholders for financial reporting and insights.
● 2+ Years proven experience in finance/bookkeeping specifically within an MSP.
● Strong working knowledge of Xero software is essential.
● Experience with Autotask is highly regarded.
● Comprehensive understanding of Australian accounting principles and practices.
● Excellent attention to detail and strong analytical skills.
● Effective communication skills and the ability to collaborate across teams.
● Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines consistently.
