About the Role: As our Senior Financial Analyst, you’ll assume a vital position under the guidance of the CFO. Your responsibilities will involve navigating the financial details of our operations, ensuring precise financial reporting, and offering insights for strategic decisions. What You Will Do:
Conduct daily financial operations, ledger maintenance, accruals, and timely reconciliations using Excel, QuickBooks and NetSuite.
Examine financial documents and reports for discrepancies to uphold accuracy.
Produce comprehensive financial statements including income statements, balance sheets and cash flow statements.
Provide proactive analytical insights into financial reporting and operations to support business decisions.
Contribute to monthly, quarterly, and annual reporting, ensuring accuracy and timeliness.
Assist with forecasting and budgeting to shape financial foresight.
Play an integral role in implementing ERP systems, establishing a solid framework for our fiscal activities.
Identify opportunities to improve financial processes and systems.
Support internal and external audits, ensuring integrity and compliance.
Provide ad-hoc reports as needed.
Strictly adhere to all regulations and company policies.
Process bi-monthly payroll for both exempt and non-exempt.
We're Looking For People Who Have:
A bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Math, Business Administration or related area.
At least four years of experience in accounting or finance.
Familiarity and experience with ERP systems.
Strong proficiency in Excel.
Strong proficiency in QuickBooks and NetSuite or similar accounting software.
Experience in general ledger functions and the month-end/year-end close process.
Familiarity with financial statements and accounting reports preparation.
Practical knowledge of implementing ERPs and undergoing audits.
Excellent problem-solving and critical thinking abilities.
Excellent attention to detail.
Strong communication and presentation skills to convey data findings to non-technical stakeholders.
Finance experience with an insurance brokerage is preferred.
