Job description

AMC Studio is the ultimate destination for game artists looking to make their mark in the world of AAA game art. Our impressive partnerships with industry giants like CD Projekt Red, Activision, and Sony, among others, underscore our commitment to excellence.

What really sets us apart is our extraordinary team - a collective of game-loving fanatics and dedicated artists delivering exceptional game artistry. Our portfolio includes titles like The Witcher 3, World of Tanks, Call of Duty, and even Marvel's Spider-Man, where we crafted immersive universes and had a blast while doing it.

We're currently scouting freelance 2D Game Artists—creative minds who can breathe life into characters, environments, and props through compelling concept art.

As part of this community, you'll be among the first considered for future roles that align with your skills and interests. If we don’t have the perfect fit at AMC right away, you may also be considered for opportunities with our trusted partner studios.

You'll also stay in the loop with updates on our latest collaborations, insights into the evolving game development landscape, and invitations to industry events and exhibitions. It’s not just about finding your next gig—it’s about building a career with people who care about where you’re headed.

Let’s shape the future of games—together.

Role responsibilities:

  • Create high-quality 2D characters, environments and assets in a photorealistic and stylized manner for triple-A games.
  • Contribute your creative process to concept, iterate, and produce visual assets for all stages of character and environment development, from initial sketches to fully rendered artworks that meet industry standards.
  • Adapt to various art directions and different project styles.
  • Address creative and technical issues as they arise.
  • Work closely with your Team and the Art Director.
  • Participate in artistic validation sessions to ensure high quality.
  • Respect deadlines established with the Production department.
  • Participate actively in Team and department meetings.

Requirements

  • Excellent knowledge of Photoshop and a 3D software (Max, Maya, Blender, Zbrush).
  • Knowledge of perspective, composition, design, depth and color theory.
  • Knowledge of game art production pipelines.
  • Adaptability to different project styles.
  • Good knowledge of artistic culture (games, cinema, traditional art etc.).
  • Autonomy, resourcefulness and good organizational and time management skills.

Above all that, we really look for nice people and team-players to join our Team. So, if sharing your thoughts & knowledge with your colleagues brings you joy, this is the place for you!

Benefits

As a part of the Keywords Studios Group, the one-stop creative agency for the game development industry, you'll have access to a world of professional opportunities within the group.

You'll become an integral part of our local star-team, immersed in our people-oriented culture. ❤️

A portfolio of great and diverse projects in which you will be involved based on your skill set and desire for professional growth.

Working and hanging out with a team of dedicated and fun-loving people (Discord game nights anyone?).

At AMC, we welcome both new colleagues and freelancers looking for a passionate team and great projects.

Does that sound good to you? Then fill in that form and come join our team! We look forward to shaping new worlds together.
