Title: Director, Finance
Location: Remote, USA
Reporting directly to the Vice President of Finance, the Director of Finance is responsible leading the Corporate Financial Planning & Analysis (FP&A) team, with direct oversight of enterprise-level finance deliverables: consolidated financials and analysis, annual plans/budgets, forecasts, longitudinal models, M&A analysis, investment cases, key performance indicators, trends, and business analytics.
Informed by Everfox’s long range plan for growth, this role partners with senior leaders to translate that strategy into an integrated plan optimizing resource & capital allocation, operating costs, and profitability. Success requires deep understanding of the business, a data-driven approach to business inquiry and analysis, strong and trusted working relationships with business leaders, and delivering highly credible and accurate financial and business analysis.
This role is also a primary contact for Everfox’s private equity sponsors’ deal teams, proactively engaging with them on drivers of financial performance and benchmarking Everfox against other portfolio companies.
Key responsibilities:
Owns all Finance deliverables at the enterprise level – consolidated financials and analysis, annual plans/budgets, forecasts, longitudinal models, investment cases, enterprise drivers and trends
Drives internal operations within FP&A, leading monthly close, forecasting, annual budgeting cycles, M&A financial integration, and FP&A systems and tooling
Continuously improves planning, analytics and forecasting – building more speed and agility into FP&A processes and maximizing business impact
Leads financial analysis for corporate development, engaging in financial diligence with potential M&A targets
Drives enterprise-level finance data and analytics strategy delivering value-add insights & analysis, improved tooling, and enhanced management reporting capabilities
Acts as finance business partner to G&A leadership and the CFO, engaging engages as a highly credible, trusted advisor whose input and collaboration is sought in strategic and operational decisions
Develops strategic presentations to leadership, synthesizing complex information into a clear business narrative that builds conviction for change with employees, leaders, and sponsors
Enhances mechanisms to ensure financial & operational goals are aligned and achieved
Collaborates closely with other Finance Directors who partner directly into the business and own business-unit financials
Manages financial analysts to deliver on Finance deliverables
Competencies:
Bachelor's in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or related field; CPA, MBA preferred
7+ years of experience in financial planning, strategic pricing experience a plus
5+ years of progressive people leadership experience
Demonstrated ability to:
Connect complex, technical strategic goals to financial imperatives and practices
Drive process improvements, and deliver actionable insights
Thrive in a fast-paced environment and effectively manage competing priorities
Exceptional analytical skills, with the ability to interpret complex financial data and communicate findings clearly and effectively to diverse audiences
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, able to work effectively with cross-functional teams and develop and maintain strong relationships
Adaptable and versatile, with strong critical thinking, bringing a creative and strategic mindset, able to think outside the box
Integrity when handling sensitive and confidential information
A reasonable estimate of the base salary range for this role is:
$187,200.00-228,799.00 USDThe actual salary offered may vary within the range based on a candidates' unique experience, locale, and business needs. In addition to a base salary and bonus plans, Everfox offers a generous benefits package including flexible PTO, a 401k match, and contribution to healthcare coverages.
