Job description

This is a remote position.

We are seeking a strategic and results-oriented Account Director to lead our engagement and drive significant sales growth with assigned key partners within Spain's open channel. This senior role is pivotal in managing these critical relationships, optimizing their performance, and expanding our market presence through our premium smartphone portfolio. The ideal candidate will possess strong commercial acumen and a proven ability to navigate Spain's unique retail landscape.

Key Responsibilities:

·       Develop and execute comprehensive strategic account plans for assigned key open channel partners, targeting substantial growth, market share increase, and profitability optimization

·       Lead, mentor, and inspire your account management team, fostering a culture of high performance and collaboration

·       Cultivate and deepen C-level relationships within major Spanish retailers, establishing genuine, long-term strategic partnerships built on trust and mutual commercial success

·       Oversee and lead complex negotiations for commercial terms, marketing investments, and product ranging within assigned accounts

·       Analyze Spain's competitive landscape, market trends, and sales performance data to identify new opportunities
Champion outstanding communication, ensuring clarity and impact in all interactions with partners and internal teams

·       Collaborate effectively across go-to-market, marketing, supply chain and finance teams to ensure seamless execution of omnichannel initiatives

·      Embody a "go-getter" spirit, proactively identifying new business opportunities in emerging categories (foldables, IoT, wearables) and overcoming challenges with resilience



Requirements

·       Proven experience (8-10+ years) in senior channel sales managing major accounts within smartphone/consumer electronics in Spain

·       Demonstrable track record of achieving significant sales growth and managing P&L responsibilities

·       Native Spanish speaker; English and Catalan are a plus

·       Deep expertise in Spanish retail landscape including operations of major retailers and e-commerce platforms

·       Exceptional negotiation skills with proven ability to secure favorable commercial terms and marketing investments

·       Strong leadership qualities, with experience managing high-performing teams

·       Proficiency in MS Office
