What You'll Do

ISO versatile, witty copywriter with direct response experience and deep understanding of TikTok and all things social (what works, what doesn’t, and what’s trending). Your writing is fun, punchy, and persuasive AF to drive conversions (without feeling “sales-y”). You can pull just about anyone out of full-fledged doom scroll with your killer hooks. You can write everything from funny, informative scripts to high-converting landing pages and are a never-ending source of data-driven ideas. You’re a chameleon who can take on dramatically different brand voices with ease. One moment, you’ll be the scientific authority on cell autophagy, the next, you’re churning out butt puns. You’re a keen and ruthless self-editor who knows the difference between an en and em dash and has opinions about the Oxford Comma. You’re a strategic thinker who leverages user experience and psychology to keep CPAs just how we like them (low). 

Must have experience writing for different brands (ideally in an agency) and writing for social media advertising. Please include a portfolio of your work.

What you'll be diving into day-to-day:

  •  Write scroll-stopping copy across paid social, landing pages, email, video scripts, and more
  • Concept and write short-form TikTok-style ads that don’t feel like ads (but convert like crazy)
  • Switch seamlessly between wildly different brand voices—one minute it’s clinical wellness, the next it’s cheeky skincare
  • Craft killer hooks, witty one-liners, and persuasive CTAs that punch above their weight
  • Collaborate with designers, editors, and strategists to develop creative that’s both high-performing and high-vibe
  • Stay glued to social trends, emerging formats, and pop culture to keep your copy fresh and relevant
  • Optimize copy based on performance data—testing, tweaking, and iterating to drive lower CPAs
  • Ruthlessly self-edit and copyedit others with an eagle eye for tone, grammar, and clarity
  • Pitch new ideas, content formats, and creative angles rooted in what’s trending, what’s working, and what’s next

What You'll Need

  • 2-6 years of relevant experience
  • Strong digital portfolio of work that features direct response copywriting. Candidates without a portfolio will not be considered.
  • Bachelor’s degree in advertising, communications, english or a related field.
  • Experience in writing for many brands, and adapting to each brand voice as needed.
  • Obsessed with tik tok trends, and all things social media.
  • Ability to multi-task and manage various work-streams, adhering to critical project timelines in a collaborative, fast-paced environment
  • Self-starting, can-do, positive attitude

Salary Range: $60,000-$65,000
The range is applicable for the labor market where the role is intended to be hired. Final base salary is directly related to each candidates' qualifications and experience uniquely.
