Title: Data Warehouse Engineer (BigQuery & Looker), Senior-level
Location: Remote
Time Zone: Work will be MST
Type: Contract
Duration: 6 - 12 months

Job Description: We are seeking a candidate who can help accelerate our efforts to migrate and convert a substantial volume of reports—currently numbering in the hundreds—into Looker. The role will focus on supporting this initiative by addressing a range of open tickets, including those related to building or enhancing BigQuery data structures and others involving Looker troubleshooting and LookML development.
While direct report conversion is not expected, the individual will work closely with analysts to understand data requirements for upcoming reports and perform light quality assurance to ensure accuracy, and completeness of results.

Required Skills:

BigQuery Data Warehouse Engineering: This is key. We need someone who can help design and build all the data structures we're missing in our new warehouse.
Looker Admin & Development: If they also know Looker well, that's even better for helping with LookML and administering that end of it (actual report building is preferred, but not essential).
Good verbal and written English.
