About the Role:

We are looking for a skilled and creative B2-C1 German Customer Support Specialist (Design & Social Media) requiring speaking and writing fluency in English and German. This role primarily involves providing accurate translations and adapting design content to match local tone, style, and colloquial expressions. The ideal candidate will work alongside the Graphic Design and Social Media Curation team and will implement copy, ensure clarity, accuracy, and cultural appropriateness across various marketing materials. They should also be a collaborative team player with a keen eye for visual design and a passion for creating compelling marketing materials.


What you’ll do:

  • Using the provided template admin tools, update English marketing materials and social media content into German.

  • Assist in creating and publishing engaging high quality social media and business card templates and other corporate identity and promotional templates meeting agreed KPIs in one of the languages mentioned

  • Make translation templates that align with the target language's local culture and expressions

  • Using existing templates, translate, copy, and assist in adjusting designs into one of the required languages

  • Assist the Design team in enhancing existing non logo template inventory including layout, colours, text, titles, and taglines in either of the languages mentioned

  • Assist in designing 100% original vectors and illustrations from scratch for use by the team in non-logo templates and original shapes and vectors for the icon shape library (from time to time).

  • Assigning suitable logos for the template live preview

  • Iterate and optimize the existing non logo library including improving template quality in German.

  • Record your work in a timely manner in a personal tracker and team trackers.

  • Use reverse image search (RIS) tools to review logo for stock/clipart elements

  • Avoid using unapproved third-party photo or vector stock elements

  • Apply IP management and quality control processes and standards

  • Report copyright infringements to team leaders

Copywriting:

  • In German, add relevant titles and tags to help customers find the logos on Google and to surface templates and logos on the website

  • In German, write short headlines, calls to action on non-logo templates where suitable

  • Create new tagged pages with relevant high-quality designs in German

  • Feature and promote high quality templates to homepage in German

  • Support the In-house Team and the Logo-curation Team when needed

  • More and/ or different responsibilities can be added may arise as part of the role
