We are now in the fortunate position to offer a two year training contract for 2 Trainee Education Mental Health Practitioners. The training takes place in year one and all trainees will access Post Graduate Diploma which is based on a national curriculum. On completion of year one successful applicants will be regraded to NHS band 5 for a further clinical year to consolidate learning and clinical skills.
Typically trainees will be at University two days a week with the other three days being in service, some of the teaching days may well be accessed remotely or via online platforms. For the 3 days per week in service, trainees will be based in schools and colleges in either East or West Cheshire.
Due to the location of the teaching and the distance from the work placement, ability to travel easily and swiftly is imperative so commuting needs to be considered by candidates.
