Job Summary
The Education and Training Specialist is responsible for coordinating and delivering effective training and education for clients and employees on Lightbeam Health Solutions products and solutions. Your focus will be on helping users who are new to the application understand the overall functionality and where they can find the data needed to assist with their specific use cases. Training sessions you lead will be virtual via Teams, or onsite at the client’s office or at our corporate office. Additionally, there are quarterly webinars that all clients are invited to attend.
Responsibilities
Utilize training materials including curriculum, agendas, materials and initiatives, etc.
Conduct training sessions for end users; onsite, at Lightbeam corporate office and virtually via Teams
Plan, design, and facilitate 1-2 day in-person training sessions at the Lightbeam corporate office on a quarterly basis
Serve as a subject matter expert and resource for training course delivery
Become knowledgeable on adult learning theory and incorporate principles into facilitation of training sessions
Ensure learners receive appropriate and effective training enabling them to fulfill their job responsibilities as applicable to the Lightbeam product line
Ensure special emphasis is reflected on maximizing the benefits of the software capabilities
Utilize online resources for continued self-education on training, training techniques, theories, etc.
Plan sufficient preparation time for upcoming training sessions
Schedule follow up sessions as requested / needed
Collect and maintain attendee lists for client training
Document accurate notes from training sessions
Inform Lightbeam project owner of any client issues that affect their assigned clients
Ensure all follow-up items are addressed on a timely basis, escalating any issues that cannot be personally addressed
Work with implementation team members to coordinate client training series
Identify and recommend continuous improvement opportunities across training process, implementation, and product service offering
Conduct employee onboarding product training
Receive Lightbeam Certified Professional (LCP) certification within 30 days and recertify every two years.

Proven working experience as a Trainer within the Healthcare IT Industry
Passion for teaching and keen ability to coach others
Experience with technologies and best practices for instructional manuals and teaching platforms

Knowledge of population health management and/or understanding and experience with healthcare data
Accustomed to client-facing roles
Willingness and ability to travel up to 70%
Strong time management skills and the ability to prioritize work
Proficient computer skills, including MS Office Suite (Word, PowerPoint, Outlook, and Excel), instructional software, etc.
