What we’re looking for 

IONIX is looking for a talented Backend Engineer to join its Tel-Aviv office and the growing R&D team, developing new features and capabilities in our SaaS product. 

What you’ll be doing 

• Take part in developing the world’s leading Attack Surface Management solution. 
• Address security, scalability, and performance challenges. 
• Work closely with other team members and different teams within the R&D org. 
• End-to-end ownership of features, from design through development and deployment. 
• Take part in uncovering and resolving critical vulnerabilities for enterprise-level companies. 
• Develop and maintain a cutting-edge cloud service following the market’s highest standards. 

We’d love to hear from you if you have: 

• 6+ years of hands-on backend development experience with large-scale, production-grade systems. 
• Expertise in Python with proven experience (this is a must). 
• A collaborative mindset and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment. 
• Experience with cloud environments like Azure, AWS, or GCP. 
• Familiarity with SaaS, serverless solutions, and microservice architecture. 
• Skills in data flow pipeline design/implementation or knowledge of data engineering. 
• Experience working closely with Data Analysts and understanding their needs. 
• Strong coding skills and a solid grasp of large-scale architecture and design patterns. 
• Experience with building production-grade ML mechanisms. 
• A passion for tackling challenging legacy systems, transforming undocumented or hard-to-maintain code into clean, maintainable solutions. 
• A passion for web security technologies and a deep understanding of network protocols (advantageous). 
• A Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science/Engineering or equivalent experience.
