What are we looking for?

We’re looking for a highly analytical, fast-moving QA Automation Engineer with strong debugging skills, hands-on experience in API testing, and advanced knowledge of Cypress with JavaScript. You’ll be part of a cross-functional Dev team, helping us deliver stable, scalable, and high-quality software.

In this role you will be responsible for:

Working as the dedicated QA Partner within a development team, taking full ownership and responsibility for ensuring the highest standards of quality throughout the software development lifecycle.

What is needed to succeed?

Key Responsibilities:

Write clear and structured test plans and documentation
Proactively takes ownership and drives excellence in quality.
Build and maintain robust automation test suites for web apps using Cypress + JavaScript.
Write and execute manual and automated API tests (REST/JSON).
Debug, isolate, and document complex issues across frontend, backend, and APIs.
Provide regular updates and reports on QA and project status to stakeholders.
Collaborate with developers and designers to understand requirements and provide feedback.

Requirements

Skills:

2+ years in QA, with a solid blend of manual and automation experience.
Advanced skills in JavaScript and Cypress for frontend test automation.
Proven experience in REST API testing, including test design, validation, and debugging.
Solid grasp of debugging tools (browser DevTools, network logs, backend logs).
Familiar with version control (Git) and CI/CD tools like GitHub Actions or Jenkins.
Strong analytical mind, proactive attitude, and attention to detail.

Desired qualifications:

Bonus Points For:

Experience with API mocking tools or contract testing (e.g., MSW, Pact).
Experience with Agile/Scrum and fast-paced release cycles.
Knowledge of Playwright or Selenium
