Job description

The Instructional Designer will be instrumental in developing impactful and engaging training content that aligns with modern learning strategies and industry best practices. In collaboration with subject matter experts and key stakeholders, you will create instructional materials and e-learning solutions designed to improve learner engagement and retention. This role demands a combination of creative thinking, problem-solving ability, and strong technical skills in instructional design software.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Course Development: Design and develop high-quality, interactive, and learner-centric educational content and training materials for various delivery formats, including eLearning, instructor-led, and blended learning.
  • Collaboration: Work closely with subject matter experts (SMEs) to gather information and insights, ensuring the accuracy and relevancy of course content.
  • Assessment Design: Develop assessment tools and evaluation methods to measure learner performance and course effectiveness.
  • Learner Evaluation: Collect and analyze feedback from learners to identify areas for improvement and make necessary revisions to course materials.
  • Continuous Improvement: Stay current on instructional design trends, technologies, and best practices to ensure innovative and effective learning solutions.

Requirements

Must-Have Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Instructional Design, Educational Technology, or a related field.
  • Strong graphic design skills with a portfolio showcasing instructional or process-related content
  • Demonstrated ability to design instructional content (especially process flow visualizations)
  • Proficient in tools like PowerPoint, Canva, or Adobe Creative Suite
  •  Must be able to build graphic visualization based on SOPs
  • 2-4 years of experience in instructional design or a similar role.
  • Strong knowledge of adult learning principles and instructional design methodologies.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with a keen eye for detail.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Tech-savvy with the ability to quickly adapt to new tools
  • Experience working with franchising companies
  • Familiarity with Delightree (SOP and operations platform)
