Papaya Global is looking for highly motivated and experienced Tax Manager to join our Finance team, building our global tax infrastructure and play a key role in our continued growth and achievement of operational excellence.

In this position you will:

  • Be responsible for the company’s full tax lifecycle and exposures in all aspects.
  • Managing the direct tax and indirect tax aspects, including Corporate, Federal and State tax, sales and use tax, VAT, GST, levies, property tax, franchise, and other similar taxes.
  • Managing external reporting and filling requirements
  • Implementing processes around tax, globally and taking ownership of internal controls processes related to tax.
  • Managing and preparing the UTP (Fin 48) annual review & documentation and preparation of quarterly and annual provision.
  • Administering tax audits on a worldwide basis.
  • Adhering to tax regulations and investigating new tax laws and developments and their respective impacts on the Company.
  • Manage global tax: transfer pricing studies and related matters.
  • Oversee tax audits (IL, US, EMEA, APAC).
  • Managing domestic and international tax planning, proactively minimizing any potential tax exposures.
  • Collaborating with local Finance teams and outside advisors.
  • Producing and delivering timely, accurate, and reliable data concerning taxes to Management.
  • Executing the Group’s tax policy and monitoring its implementations.
  • Overseeing accounting for income taxes (ASC 740 etc.) including liaising with external auditors’ tax team.
  • Assisting and supporting the Sales-Ops and Fin-Ops team and finance team with tax matters, questions, and tax training.




Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in accounting, CPA
  • Law and/or MBA a strong plus
  • Min 7 years of experience
  • Experience working at or with high-tech public companies that reports by US GAAP
  • Experience with tax accounting principles (ASC 740) applied on a global basis, Israeli tax knowledge, US federal and state income and sales tax concepts, international tax planning and compliance, business combinations and SOX and Tax structuring.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills (verbal and written)
  • Self-motivated, proactive with a passion for creating order
  • Hands on, detail oriented, while being able to see the big picture
  • Excellent English, written and verbal
  • Advanced capabilities with Excel
