ETL Developer OR DWH/BI Developer- PUNE

Description

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform development and support activities for the data warehousing domain using ETL tools and technologies.
• Understand high-level design, application interface design, and build low-level design. Perform application analysis and propose technical solutions for application enhancement or resolve production issues.
• Perform development and deployment tasks, including coding, unit testing, and deployment.
• Create necessary documentation for all project deliverable phases.
• Handle production issues (Tier 2 support, weekend on-call rotation) to resolve production issues and ensure SLAs are met.

Technical Skills:

Mandatory:

• Working experience in Azure Databricks/PySpark.
• Expert knowledge in Oracle/SQL with the ability to write complex SQL/PL-SQL and performance tune.
• 2+ years of experience in Snowflake.
• 2+ years of hands-on experience in Spark or Databricks to build data pipelines.
• Strong experience with cloud technologies.
• 1+ years of hands-on experience in development, performance tuning, and loading into Snowflake.
• Experience working with Azure Repos or GitHub.
• 1+ years of hands-on experience with Azure DevOps, GitHub, or any other DevOps tool.
• Hands-on experience in Unix and advanced Unix shell scripting.
• Open to working in shifts.

Good to Have:

• Willingness to learn all data warehousing technologies and work outside of the comfort zone in other ETL technologies (Oracle, Qlik Replicate, Golden Gate, Hadoop). Hands-on working experience is a plus.
• Knowledge of job schedulers.
