Job Description

AWP Safety is in search of a seasoned Senior Business Systems Analyst who possesses a profound expertise in business process reengineering and systems analysis. This role is essential in bridging business needs with technical solutions, focusing on optimizing and redefining business processes through extensive requirement gathering and system design. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in Agile and Waterfall methodologies, and be adept in writing user stories, understanding both functional and non-functional requirements, and conducting various test cycles such as SIT, user acceptance testing. A significant part of this role will include working on a Microsoft Dynamics Quote-to-Cash ERP implementation with a strong understanding of F&O functional expertise and a solid understanding of Dual-write. This function reports to the Senior Manager, Business Systems Analysis.

Key Responsibilities

  • Partner with business units disbursed geographically to reengineer and optimize business processes.
  • Elicit, document, and manage business requirements.
  • Facilitate workshops for requirements gathering and system design.
  • Write user stories with clear acceptance criteria in an Agile framework.
  • Document requirements in BRDs when appropriate.
  • Distinguish between functional and non-functional requirements.
  • Develop and assist in executing test cases; facilitate various test cycles such as unit testing, SIT and user acceptance testing.
  • Be the point of contact for Dynamics 365 F&O with a clear understanding of Dual-Write functionality between CE and F&O.
  • Expertise in creating data mapping and solution documents for building integrations between Dynamics 365 F&O to Data Warehouse and 3rd Party systems.
  • Dynamics 365 SCM experience a plus
  • Employ critical thinking and problem-solving skills in project scenarios.
  • Communicate effectively and facilitate discussions in large group settings.
  • Maintain vendor relationships and manage contractual obligations.

Qualifications
  • Expertise in Agile and Waterfall methodologies.
  • Demonstrate up-to-date expertise in Information Systems and apply this to the development, execution and improvement of action plans by providing advice and guidance to others in the application of information and best practices.
  • Experience with Microsoft Dynamics 365 F&O and quote to cash ERP platforms.
  • Manage stakeholder relationships and expectations by developing a communication process to keep others up to date on project results
  • Stay current with customer needs and strategies; utilizing formal and informal written communication methods (for example, emails, newsletters, PowerPoint presentations, executive updates, task lists, updates) to communicate updates and findings; and facilitating project meetings and presentations to all types of diverse audiences (for example, senior management, Customers, technical staff)
  • Provide leadership to team members and peers by collaborating with others; articulating ideas and viewpoints to senior management, peers and others; identifying and initiating projects; managing resources; driving the resolution of issues; and holding self and team accountable for results.
  • Collaborate closely with developers to implement the requirements, provide necessary guidance to testers during QA process.
  • Assess business process and system inefficiencies.
  • Create and maintain issue logs, meeting minutes, meeting schedules, project summaries and updates.
  • Proven experience in business process reengineering and systems analysis.
  • Strong skills in writing user stories and understanding different types of requirements.
  • Ability to write and facilitate test cases and user acceptance testing.
  • Excellent critical thinking and problem-solving capabilities.
  • Strong communication skills and comfort in facilitating large group discussions.
  • Bachelor’s degree in computer science, computer information systems, management information systems, or related field.
  • Minimum of 6-8 years’ experience in Business Systems Analyst roles.

Compensation: $150K - $185K + 15% AIP Bonus

The base pay offered will take into account internal equity and also may vary depending on the candidate’s geographic region, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience among other factors. A bonus and/or long-term incentive units may be provided as part of the compensation package, in addition to the full range of medical, financial, and/or other benefits, dependent on the level and position offered.
