Job Description

We are looking for a Transport Intelligence Analyst based in Rodange (L)!

The Transport Intelligence Analyst role is ideal for candidates with a strong analytical and supply chain background coupled with strong interpersonal skills.

In your role as Transport Intelligence Analyst you will be part of the European Transport function and work in close collaboration with the Supply Chain and Finance teams, external partners (freight carriers, audit company) and enable the achievement of financial data transparency and strategic objectives.

You will add value to the organization by supporting a high level of profitability by supporting the optimization and control of the freight budget (95m€)

Your responsibilities will include: 

  • Oversee and analyze financial performance KPIs, monitor carrier costs on weekly basis
  • Maintain and enhance analytical capabilities related to cost reporting, stay tuned to the market dynamics
  • Support financial reporting activities including but not limited to: preparation of the annual budget, month-end and weekly reporting and forecasting and cost deviation management
  • Support the deployment of cost analytical tool to serve the needs of the European Transportation team
  • Support the deployment of freight projects aimed at reducing freight costs or improving service offered to customers in terms of lead-time
  • Carrier portfolio management, quarterly performance reviews and annual budget discussions
  • Facilitating the contact between Avery Dennison departments (shipping, customer service) and our carrier partners

 

Qualifications
  • 4+ Years supply chain, research, transport or related experience with Bachelor’sDegree.
  • 3/4+ years of experience in analyst, ELS or project based role within an international organization.
  • Excellent communication and negotiation skills in English (written and spoken); additional European languages are a plus.
  • Knowledge of industrial processes, printing technologies, and/or labeling solutions is beneficial.
  • Strong problem-solving and analytical skills; Green Belt Certification is a plus.
  • Proficiency in data analytics.
  • Ability to perform well under pressure and manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
  • High degree of accuracy, strong time-management, and prioritization skills.
  • Energetic, dedicated, and enthusiastic work approach with strong self-management and an analytical mindset.
  • Strong customer focus and orientation.
