We are looking for a software test lead. The candidate will work in close partnership with instructional designers, engineering, and technical support to lead software testing for our various platforms. The candidate must thrive in a fast-paced and dynamic environment. We have both web and mobile platforms so should be familiar with both.
To succeed in this role, the candidate is required to be fearless generalist who is eager to learn about varied technical areas. Be responsible for eliciting and building test cases for all features, fixes or new products. Will lead the execution of testing for all products and platforms. Be ready to provide detailed documentation for both test cases and results. In the hiring process, be prepared to provide examples of previous test cases you have written as well as testing processes and procedures used.
Key Responsibilities:
• Building test cases for all features, fixes and new products both web and mobile
• Managing all test processes
• Documenting testing procedure, test cases and testing results
• Conducting functional and user testing
Functional Knowledge:
• 4+ years of experience as a software tester and 2+ years of experience in leading testing teams
• Experience with authoring, editing and organizing Confluence
• Experience using Visio to diagram data, work and user flows as well as system architectures
2+ years in leading testing teams; Thought leadership in creating test cases is required in this role
Key Qualifications:
• Demonstrated ability to write documentation that is clear, concise, consistent, and accurate
• Ability to build good working relationships with an established team of cross-functional partners
• Strong written and spoken communication skills in English
• Expert attention to detail and organizational skills
• Experience in Automation testing
• Coding experience in Python & Selenium
• Ability to manage multiple, competing priorities in a fast-paced, constantly changing environment
• Ability to work with a distributed team
Education
• BA/BS degree in Computer Science, Technical Communication, English, a related technical discipline, or relevant professional experience.
