Software Engineer

This role is more than just development. We need full-stack developers who use their passion to learn new tools and techniques and identify and implement business process improvements. Using an Agile and Scrum development methodology in an as-a-Service approach, you’ll work with the development team to build a corporate credit union platform solution. This will require custom front-end development to optimize the member experience, as well as sophisticated data integration on the back-end. Essential Duties and Responsibilities

• Responsible for full stack development, testing, implementation, documentation, and maintenance of a wide variety of applications per business requirements; analyze the business environment to identify complex problems and recommend solutions
• Design and develop new business software applications; support and create a variety of updates (maintenance, repairs bugs, etc.) for existing software applications
• Integrate data from disparate systems to meet application requirements and ensure that applications are compatible across multiple computing platforms and browsers; provide support to end users and serve as a resource for colleagues

Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities

• Experience (7 years), knowledge of and proficiency with C#, ASP.NET, React.js, HTML, JavaScript, Microsoft Visual Studio, Microsoft SQL Server, REST, web services, API Integration, and Object-Oriented software design
• React.js, HTML, JavaScript, REST, web services, API Integration experience a plus
• Excellent time management, prioritization and organizational skills
• Solid verbal, written and interpersonal communication skills
• Ability to work well in a team environment and to effect positive initiatives

Education and Experience

This position requires a Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or a related technical field. In lieu of degree, a minimum of five years of application development experience is acceptable. Experience in a financial services environment is preferred.
