What Will You Do?
Reporting to the AVP of Business Transformation, the Business Analyst will lead and manage in a role responsible for supporting EA&D in Business Analysis activities. The position is part of a larger team performing requirements gathering, business case development, quality assurance testing, and user acceptance testing coordination as required in support of IT projects and initiatives. This position will divide attention approximately 60% to projects, 20% to support activities, and 20% to continuous improvement.
Through the implementation of industry standard tools and practices, the lead will support designing and implementation of any testing requirements to increase the effectiveness and efficiency of testing in-house developed solutions as well as key third-party supplied applications.
Quality assurance will be achieved through the close collaboration of the business analysis, application development, and testing functions working together to create plans which are comprehensive to the identified use cases of the client. The focus of the role is delivery of high-quality releases thereby decreasing costs to the organization, while improving client experience and employee engagement.
The Business Analyst will collaborate with internal and external resources to ensure high-quality, consistent delivery while performing all activities, including the following:
· Elicit and clearly document business and systems requirements.
· Serve as a liaison between Operations and IT to assist or gather business requirements needed for system modifications, enhancement, and implementations.
· Create and maintain issue logs, meeting minutes, meeting schedules, project summaries and updates.
· Identify opportunities to improve efficiency.
· User experience design and build
· Continuous improvement recommendations and deployments
Develop and execute test plans.
