Total Weekly Hours: 40 Hours
You will work remotely to support a variety of IT systems and platforms, with occasional on-site visits as needed. This is an excellent opportunity for someone who enjoys solving problems, thrives in a fast-paced environment, and has a passion for supporting hospitality teams.
Provide real-time IT support to restaurant teams during business hours, including evenings and weekends
Use remote tools (e.g., TeamViewer) to troubleshoot and resolve technical issues
Maintain and update:
POS menus, item settings, and modifiers
Reservation systems (availability, time slots)
Online platforms (e.g., Google Business Profile, Facebook)
Diagnose and resolve issues related to:
POS errors and malfunctions
Printer issues (receipt, label, docket printers)
Delivery platform connectivity (Uber Eats, Menulog, DoorDash)
Online reservation systems (Quandoo, SevenRooms)
Communicate effectively with external vendors and platform support teams
Document support cases and maintain an internal knowledge base of common issues and solutions
Basic networking knowledge (router/modem setup, IP configuration, DHCP/static IPs)
Experience with hospitality technology platforms, including POS and online booking systems
Proficiency with remote support tools such as TeamViewer
Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to support non-technical users patiently and clearly
Highly organized and capable of managing multiple tasks independently
